Through your gifts to Focus on the Family, you help strengthen families, promote traditional values and transform lives through the power of the gospel. But you also accomplish something else: You enable Focus to extend its ministry to those who cannot afford to support it. You see, many of our friends view Focus on the Family as solely a provider of resources, publications and radio programs. They believe that income from those sources underwrites all of our activities. But what they may not realize is that contributions in return for a book or tape cover only a small part of our overall financial need. More than 80 percent of our efforts are delivered through pure family ministry that depends on generous donations from people like you. A wide variety of individual ministries depend on regular support from generous donors, including: - A caring, efficient constituent services team who encourage and assist families with questions and problems. This year, they'll answer close to 6,000 phone calls.
- Our church ministry staff look after over 100 family representatives with churches around the New Zealand and over 180 DPYK (Drug Proof Your Kids) facilitators. We have over 2500 churches on our database to manage communication and resources with. These ministries are helping a desperate need to people in crisis.
